Education
In 1999 I earned my Ph.D. in Sociology from Oklahoma State University, where my specialties were environmentak sociology
and formal organizations. I previously earned a Master's in Applied Sociology and a Bachelor's degree in Sociology from Clemson
University.
Experience
My dissertation was a study of technological change in Oklahoma's government. Since leaving graduate school, I've done
policy research, taught sociology, done some writing for the Web, tried to start a writing and research business, and started
a career with the federal government.
Since leaving graduate school I've spent hundreds of hours studying and writing about sustainable development, creative
thinking strategies like lateral thinking, and problem-solving tools like Kepner-Tregoe.
